EV Charger Installation

Level 2 home and workplace EV chargers, with load assessment, permits and a tidy installation.

PANEL DEDICATED 50A CIRCUIT · LOAD CHECKED

Overview

A Level 2 charger is the most convenient way to charge an electric vehicle at home. We check that your electrical service can support it, recommend a charger and location, and install it on a dedicated circuit with the correct protection. If your panel is near capacity, we explain the options, from load management to an upgrade.

Questions about ev chargers

Do I need a panel upgrade for an EV charger?

Not necessarily. Many homes have enough spare capacity, and smart chargers with load management can avoid an upgrade. We confirm with a load calculation before you commit.

Can you install the charger I already own?

Yes, provided it is a listed Level 2 unit suitable for the location. Hardwired chargers are generally preferable to plug-in units for daily use.
