Pre-war homes along the river
Mostly two-storey timber-frame houses built between 1910 and 1940, with lath-and-plaster walls and original knob-and-tube in a good number of them.
Cedar Heights
1960s–70s suburbs, ready for modern loads
Single-storey ranch and split-level homes from 1962–1978, typically with 100A services, attached garages and accessible attics or crawlspaces.
Millbrook
Newer homes, EVs and smart upgrades
Two-storey detached homes from 1998 onwards, generally with 200A services, finished basements and detached or oversized garages.
Old Harbor
Shops, restaurants and mixed-use buildings
Two- to four-storey brick buildings from the late 1800s to the 1950s, now mostly retail and hospitality at street level with residential units above.
Northgate
Offices and light industrial units
Steel-frame office and industrial units built from the 1980s onwards, with three-phase supplies, suspended ceilings and raised floors in many offices.
