1920s family home: staged whole-house rewire
Knob-and-tube wiring replaced throughout a two-storey 1920s home in four stages, with the family living at home throughout.
Service · Homes & businesses
Full and partial rewiring for older homes, renovations and buildings with outdated or damaged wiring.
Knob-and-tube, ungrounded circuits and decades of DIY additions are common in older properties. A planned rewire replaces them with safe, grounded, properly protected circuits. We work room by room to keep your home usable and patch neatly behind ourselves.
Quoted per project after a survey. Partial rewires are often possible.
Demo figures. Every job is confirmed in a written quote.
Usually, yes. We plan the work in stages so that most of the house has power each evening. Kitchens and bathrooms are scheduled carefully to keep disruption short.
We fish new cable through existing cavities wherever possible, so most work needs only small access holes. Where larger openings are unavoidable, we tell you in the quote.
