Terms of Service

These terms apply to work carried out by Arcwell Electric and to the use of this website. Your written quote may include additional terms specific to your job.

Quotes

Written quotes are valid for 30 days and describe the agreed scope of work. Prices on this website are typical examples and are not offers. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted and approved by you before it is carried out.

Scheduling and access

We will agree a date and time with you. Please make sure we have safe access to the work area and the electrical panel. If we cannot access the property at an agreed time, a call-out charge may apply.

Hidden conditions

Electrical systems are often concealed. If we discover unsafe conditions or work that could not reasonably have been foreseen, we will stop, explain the issue and agree any change with you before continuing. We may need to leave a circuit isolated if it is unsafe to energise.

Payment

Small jobs are payable on completion. Larger projects follow the deposit and stage payments set out in the quote. Materials remain our property until paid for in full.

Warranty

We provide a 2-year workmanship warranty on installations. This does not cover damage caused by misuse, alteration by others, or faults in equipment supplied by the customer. Manufacturer warranties apply to equipment in addition.

Emergency call-outs

Our emergency line operates every day, 6:00 – 22:00. Response times are estimates and depend on demand, weather and travel; we cannot guarantee attendance within a specific time. Emergency rates are confirmed on the phone before we attend.
