While you wait

Five safety steps

Only do what you can do safely. If in any doubt, step away and wait for us.

  1. If it is safe, switch off the affected circuit at the panel, or the main breaker.
  2. Do not touch scorched, wet or damaged outlets, cables or appliances.
  3. Unplug sensitive electronics if power is unstable.
  4. Keep children and pets away from the affected area.
  5. If the whole street is dark, the fault is with the utility: report it to them.

When you call

What happens next

  1. Step 1: You call

You speak to a person, not a call centre. We ask what is happening and give safety advice straight away.

  2. Step 2: We confirm cost & time

Call-out rate and an arrival estimate are agreed on the phone before anyone sets off.

  3. Step 3: Make safe

On arrival we isolate the fault and make the installation safe.

  4. Step 4: Repair or quote

We repair on the spot where parts allow, or leave you safe with a written quote.

Hours & rates

Emergency call-out rates are higher than standard rates and are always confirmed on the phone before we attend. Outside the emergency hours, we cannot guarantee a response.
