Questions about repairs & troubleshooting
Can I just keep resetting a breaker that trips?
A breaker that trips is doing its job: it has detected an overload or a fault. Resetting it once is reasonable; if it trips again, leave it off and call an electrician so the cause can be found.
Do you charge to diagnose a fault?
Our service call covers travel and the first part of diagnosis. If you go ahead with the repair on the same visit, the call-out fee is credited against the work.
